Previous Years Booklists

I read a lot.

And by a lot, I mean a lot a lot.  I read in the car while waiting to pick up my daughter from school, while she's at her many activities, before bed, on breaks at work, and any other time in between where I'm just stuck waiting.  Thus, I read a TON of books.  I will be the first to admit that they are not all the most tasteful books~ I do read my share of fluff reading, as well as I try a ton of books that are just plain terrible. But part of this is what comes with reading and trying new things.  I also read a lot of juvenile fiction, but part of that is being a parent.  I want to know what sort of stories are popular and what I should recommend to my daughter when the time is right.  I know it's a few years down the road, but it's better to be prepared.

I wanted to see how many books I could make it through this year, and thus have been working all year on compiling this list- along with some comments on a few of my favorites.  My goal is to make it to 100 books by the end of 2011.
